Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By booking services with Paw Stays, you (the "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Paw Stays will provide pet sitting and/or boarding services as agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • The Client agrees to provide accurate information about their pet(s) including health conditions, behavioral issues, and care requirements.
  • Paw Stays reserves the right to refuse service to any pet that poses a danger to the pet sitter or other animals.
  • Services are provided by Zeng Ventures LLC, a limited liability company.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
  • The remaining balance is due at the time of drop-off.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit cards.
  • Prices are subject to change, but not after a booking has been confirmed.
  • Holiday surcharges may apply for major holidays (15% additional fee).

3. Pet Requirements

  • All pets must be up to date on vaccinations as required by law.
  • Dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.
  • Cats must be vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP.
  • Clients must disclose any known health issues, medications, or behavioral concerns prior to service.
  • Paw Stays reserves the right to refuse service for pets with contagious conditions.

4. Service Hours and Scheduling

  • Check-in hours: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Check-out hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee.
  • Bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance when possible.
  • Last-minute bookings may be accommodated based on availability.

5. Modification of Terms

Paw Stays reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Current clients will be notified of any changes to the terms that affect their existing bookings.

Privacy Policy

1. Information Collection

Paw Stays collects the following information:

  • Client contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
  • Pet information (name, breed, age, health conditions, behavior)
  • Veterinary contact information
  • Emergency contact information

2. Use of Information

The information collected is used for:

  • Providing the agreed-upon pet care services
  • Contacting you regarding your pet's care
  • Emergency situations involving your pet
  • Sending appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Processing payments

3. Information Sharing

Paw Stays will not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • With veterinary professionals in case of a pet emergency
  • As required by law or legal process
  • With your explicit consent

4. Data Security

Paw Stays takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Physical documents containing client information are stored securely, and digital information is protected with standard security measures.

5. Photos and Social Media

Paw Stays may take photos of your pet during their stay. By using our services, you grant Paw Stays permission to use these photos for business purposes, including on the website and social media platforms. If you wish to opt out of this, please let us know in writing.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Deposits

  • The 50% deposit required to secure bookings is non-refundable.
  • Deposits will only be refunded if the service is canceled by Paw Stays, not by the client.
  • If Paw Stays must cancel a booking, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

2. Cancellations by Client

  • More than 7 days before service: Deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied as credit towards future services within 3 months.
  • 3-7 days before service: Deposit is non-refundable and cannot be applied to future services.
  • Less than 3 days before service: Deposit is non-refundable and client may be charged an additional 25% of the remaining balance.

3. Early Return/Service Reduction

If you return early or reduce services after your pet's stay has begun, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the scheduled service.

4. Additional Fees

  • Late pick-up fees: $15 per hour past agreed check-out time without prior arrangement.
  • Medication administration fee: $5 per day.
  • These fees are non-refundable once services have begun.

5. Service Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with the services provided, please contact Paw Stays within 24 hours of service completion. Issues will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Liability Disclaimer

1. Pet Health and Emergencies

  • Paw Stays will make every reasonable effort to care for your pet in a safe and responsible manner.
  • In the event of illness or injury, Paw Stays will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact immediately.
  • If your pet requires emergency veterinary care, Paw Stays will transport your pet to either your designated veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic.
  • The client agrees to reimburse Paw Stays for any expenses incurred for emergency veterinary care.
  • By using Paw Stays' services, you authorize Paw Stays to seek veterinary care with your financial responsibility.

2. Limitation of Liability

Paw Stays and Zeng Ventures LLC's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific services during which damages occurred. Paw Stays is not liable for:

  • Injuries that pets may sustain during normal play or exercise.
  • Pre-existing health conditions or injuries.
  • Complications arising from administering medications as directed by the client.
  • Any loss or damage due to natural disasters, power outages, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

3. Property Damage

Client accepts responsibility for any property damage caused by their pet while in Paw Stays' care. This includes damage to Paw Stays' apartment, furnishings, or personal belongings.

4. Pet Abandonment

If the client fails to pick up their pet at the agreed-upon time and does not contact Paw Stays within 48 hours, the pet may be considered abandoned. In such cases, Paw Stays will attempt to rehome the pet or surrender to an animal shelter, and the client will be responsible for all related costs.

5. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Paw Stays and Zeng Ventures LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from the client's pet or the services provided, except in cases of gross negligence.

Legal Entity

Paw Stays is a service provided by Zeng Ventures LLC, a Limited Liability Company organized under the laws of the state of New York. All services, agreements, and policies are provided through this legal entity.

Client Acknowledgment

By using Paw Stays' services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this document. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Zeng Ventures LLC d/b/a Paw Stays.
